Bucket List
I am going to have a running list of things I want to accomplish before I… well, kick the bucket. I plan on revising the list as I go and cross off things as they get done.
Hopefully, by the end of my life, I’ll be able to say, I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do: No Reserve, No Retreat, No Regret.
- witness a World Series game at Wrigley Field.
- be alive when the Cubs win the World Series.
- write a book.
- step foot on African soil again.
- teach my kid how to ride their bike.
- make it back to Korea and retrace my roots.
- meet Michael Jordan (and maybe play one on one).
- preach in front of my parents.
- live long enough to spoil my grandchildren.
- drive an rx-7 twin turbo.
- run the bases at Wrigley.
- shoot a 3-pointer at the United Center.
- kick a field goal at Soldier Field.
- see a sweeping revival overcome this nation.
- see the Pyramids in Egypt.
- go to Israel.
- follow the Apostle Paul’s missionary paths.
- shake hands with and stand next to the President of the United States of America.
- hand my daughter off at her wedding.
- go sailing in the ocean.
- climb a mountain.
- witness the championship trophy being brought back to the Chicago Bulls.
- marry and grow old with the woman I love.
- baptize my own children.
- never retire.
- visit Australia.
- step as close as possible to North Korean soil.
- make a dent in this world for the sake of Christ.
(yes, I was inspired by the movie. no, I’m not dying)
